Popteen 12.11 picks

Ok, I know this is already an "old" magazine, and that there are scans of some mags from 2012 already, but I just wanted to share some picks from December's issue of Popteen. I just LOVE how soft and cute are those outfits.. Wish I could dress like this everyday in Polish weather :D Well it's not THAT cold yet, so I can go for it, but soon.. I HATE WINTER.

I especially love this nals page!
Wish this type of nail-art was available to get in European nail art stores :)

Mikołajki!

Today is a really nice day. 6th of December is Saint Nicholas' Day, which is celebrated in Poland by giving small gifts to your friends and family, usually sweets and little souvenirs. To me this day has always been an official start of Christmas preparations!
Since the morning you can hear the Christmas songs on the radio and chocolate Santa Claus (saint Nicholas) are just everywhere!

Even though we are all old asses already, together with my university classmates we had decided to continue the school tradition for 6th of December.. Yes, we did the invisible friend! ^_^
For our professors to not feel left out and stuff - we gave them chocolate Santas *^^*

Here are the gifts I got this year:

- hello kitty mirror with small comb and gingerbread hand warmer at the university
- chocolates (there's been more but I left them in my secret sweets shelf xD )
- new publication about Barcelona that I've been waiting for!

I swear my dad has a talent to get new releases.. This book has been release yesterday and I've already had had it today at 7am.
It's kind of a tourism guide about Barcelona, but much more emotional. Includes anecdotes and own stories and experiences from many places, it's said to be written with a really nice language.. The author is a General Consul of Poland in Barcelona so surely he is a diligent person and knows the city well.. Can't wait to read it and walk the routes again when I visit barcelona in the end of the year!

I love reading alternative tourist guides and walk the routes seeing the places I know so well in a totally different logjt.. It's as if.. As if I were seeing all of those places for the first time. Reborn. New. Fresh. Same, but so different.

Fast update!

Hi there my lovely readers :D

I'm so super ultra busy with my studies these days I can't even.. Hardly made time to post up the nail decals review from the last post!
Guess I'm not the best blogger in the world.. ^^

Now that I'm back to the real world where I have to study, university comes first, together with some other real life issues :) however I've managed to download the blogger application for my iPhone (I know I'm soooo slow) so hopefully I can make more short updates from my phone! (trying it out now!)

Do you remember my wishlist from the last post?
Well one of the positions came true on my birthday.. I got to eat some awesome Japanese noms!

aaanddd...

I went with my parents to eat out at Hanami, one of them Japanese and sushi restaurants here in Poznan.
Rest of my wishlist dreams should come true by the end of the month though; I'm going to visit my boy in Barcelona on 27th of December! ^__^

Few days ago I bought myself new HOT HOT shoes.. Maybe some of you have already seen them on my twitter? Well I found them on sale and even though I'm currently broken i just had to get them! They were only 59zl, which is about.. 12€? CHEAP.

Super shiny sequin pumps from Quazi, a brand that works with Anja Rubik.

I had to try them out immediately ^^ easy and half-formal outfit from that day;
blazer: Stradivarius
t-shirt: Forever21
belt: Shana
shorts: random;
shoes: Quazi

I love ginger ale! Why is it soooo hard to find in my country T^T

Okay I should go back to studying. Of this thing works then maybe I can update more often!

P.S. So, apparently, Blogger app works really good except for one thing.. It posts the pictures randomly in the end of the post.. Had to edit it on my laptop.
Any tips how to post the pictures in the place where I want them from the iPhone Blogger app????

*sponsored review* Nail Water Decals - KKCENTERHK

So I got e-mailed again by KKcenterHK with a question if I'd like to try out their nail water decals.
As all of you probably know, I'm a nail art freak! So obviously I agreed. Again. Hahah.

The package arrived some time ago - their shipping is quite fast and parcels are really well & secure packed!
However as I broke my nails travelling (yay Gata + suitcase + Warsaw-Berlin EuroExpress train...) I had to wait a little bit before making some nice nail art that includes water decays.
And so the day has come when as a nice Friday afternoon activity I used some of my water decals!

This is the product I've got from KKcenterHK:
http://www.kkcenterhk.com/Nail-Water-Decals-Love/c106_151/p5067/N.NAIL-heart-Water-Decals-Nail-Art-WDBLE1316/product_info.html

They were so nice that they let me choose the design! I took the first one that caught my eye, but there is a lot too choose - over 600 designs!

They're also very cheap - only 2.64$
Water decals are generally so much better than nail stickers, since they're totally FLAT, I mean it, you don't even know you have them on your nail! So they tend to last longer and be less problematic.

I got my water decals in a nice secure bag. You can zip open and close it. I'm gong to save it for my stickers and water decals, haha :D

It's nice, because water decals are very sensitive, so it's better to keep them closed like this ^^

The design is so cute I've decided to make some nail art that is kinda Dolly-wink inspired.
To make it I've used just 3 colors:

Cute cute cute colors!

The results are like this:

Overall those nail water decals are really easy to use and the designs are very nice! I think everyone can find something that fits their taste. And one leaf of them lasts for many manicures. I have quite small nails so I had to cut them out the way to fit my nail, but it's nice that you can cut them as you want, to make more designs. You either use them as a whole nail art or just as a detail, as I did.

That's how much I have left:

(I've wasted one heart because my dog came and pushed my hand, hahah, fail.)

I will update the post if anything happens to my decals, and tell you how long the mani lasted!

If you want to purchase somethin from KKcenterHK please remember you can use my coupon code to get 10% off of all products!

bye bye teens.

Tomorrow is my birthday.. So those are technically my last hours as a teen!
And I totally HATE IT.

I never wanted to grow up, since I've been 17 I kept on wishing the time would stop and I could stay young.
But guess it's not possible..

The numbers switch and I'm entering twenties. I'm lucky either way, born in the end of November I'm one of the last people born in 1991 to celebrate their birthday :)

I hate my birthday for many reasons, and my birthday this year is probably going to suck not only because I simply would like TO NOT HAVE IT! but also becasue my boyfriend was meant to come here and make me a suprise, which I only was informed about, because eventually due to personal reasons is impossible.. And the plan was so cool, Li and my mu together with one of my best friends (Carol, thank you and I love you!) they planned to take me out party and keep in touch to bring my boyfriend in at midnight.. TT__TT

Lond-distance relationships are so hard. I advice everyone to stay out of it if you still have a chance! :P

Either way I'm going out today because my friends wouldn't let me live is I stayed home!
And here comes the problem..

I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO WEAR!

I kinda wanted to celebrate my birthday with getting myself that amazingly extrely glorious silver Versace for H&M dress but of course I didn't bother to wake up so early in the morning and failed to get it :D
(Maybe that's better, it's not like I could afford it anyway..)

Lately my mood is very bad, and looking at the pictures I decided there are some things that would definitely make up my mood!
(Except for shopping of course :D)

Here is the top 5:

5.

Enric Rosich macarrons! OMG they're the best in the whole world.. The raspberry one is amazing. When I buy them and the box is over, I just die a little inside. ^^;

4.

Hanging out in Barcelona city center.. Just makes me feel nostalgic. The best city in my world. Place that has definitely change my life and where I will always go back..

3.

LOTS OF GOOD ROLLS AND SASHIMI.

2.

Party in Sutton!
I miss this club, the memories, the parties, the drunken nights, with the best people, with my friends, the time of our lives. Just moments, careless, carefree stupid and crazy, reckless and fun. Crazy ideas and bad consequences.. Yet still I have no regrets for each night spent there..
Many people met, even more forgotten.. Some friendships just for the party time, and some that may last for life.

1.

That stupid boy.. I love you, idiot <3

----

Anyone willing to grant me something from my top5? :D

The make-up issue

Yes, I love make-up.
I doll myself up almost everyday.
BB cream, blush, eyeshadows, eyeliner. Fake lashes.
Circle lenses.
Lip gloss. All of it to make my eyes appear bigger and dolly-like, my lips full and kiss-eable.

I style my hair, wear extensions, sometimes even a wig.

Does that make me fake? Platic?
Does it really mean I'm ugly underneath it all?

I'M NOT.

I am not ugly and I do not consider myself as such. Quite the opposite, I know I am naturally pretty - maybe not an amazing "oh-wow-what-a-beauty", but pretty.
Is it bad I want to make myself look even prettier?

No one blames girls who wear high heels that they're fake, because their legs are not as slim as they appear.
No one blames girls who wear clothes that suit their body type, to hide their imperections.
Quite the opposite, everyone is encouraged to.

So why is the face a problem?

I love my face. That's why I want it to look as I like it too look.
I don't have troubles with self-acceptance; BUT I have a problem with feeling naked.

Going out with no make-up is like going out with underwear only for me.
My totally natural, bare face is not just for everyone. It's only for people who are the closest for me, who accept me. Being totally natural is being totally vulnerable. It shows every little spot on my skin that proves that I' worried. Every little bag under my eyes, that shows that sometimes I'm just tired of all of it.
Why should it be visible to just everyone I pass on the street?

My make up is my shelter. It makes me feel more secure and condifent.
And I gladly strip out of it when I'm with people I love and trust.

No one tells me to show my naked body in the public, why they want to see my naked face?

Make-up doesn't make you fake.
The only thing that can make someone fake it their personality.

But if you still consider me as a "faux", just because I know how to do make-up and have the guts to pull it off, then yeah, ok.
I'm fake.
But being fake I am still prettier than you.

And just one more thing: beauty is not only the outside.
It's so much more about your inside. About accepting yourself and knowing how to improve yourself - not only physically.

And I am doing better and better with it every single day.

leather pants

Some time ago I made a purchase that I wanted for quite a some time, but always thought it wouldnt' fit me.. Evetually I found a model that fits me and I really enjoy wearing it.. Those are..

Black leather pants!

They look really cool and go well with various outfits. Even with just a normal t-shirt they still look good. I loved havng them last two weekend, when I've been travelling bac and forth to Barcelona, back to Poznan, then to Berlin.. Cheap airlnes how just 10kg luggage limit to I was happy to have a cloth that can create many outfits. Same with Berlin, though I went with a train, I just took a small suitcase with me - because come on, it's just one weekend! And I had t go to class in the morning with the suitcase then take it directly to the train ^^

This is my shopping from the leather pants day:

The only thing I dislike about those pants is the fact that when it's like really cold outside they get sooo cold and it's hard to warm them up again. But I can manage, I don't even stay much outside so it's ok :)

On the first day I wore it to the uni, together with Forever21 loose stripes sweater, pink handbag and nerd glasses :)

From few other times that I've managed to take pictures of, I wore it for a party once:

(kinda satisfied with the volume of my hair, he he he :D)

Also I made a look for JYJ concert with those! HAhaha ok I know I am a hopeless fangirl <3

This one was taken in Barcelona, way way wayyy before the concert started, when I just echanged my tickets for the bracelet ^^

Have I already mentioned how amazing was the concert? Both of them.
God, their lives are just.. Unforgettable. Breathtaking. Incredibly funny. Tear-shading. Perfect.
I don't regret any cent ever spent on them - and that would make a small fortune, considering the fact I own all o their cds, dvds, most of their singles (I mean everythign since their Korean debut as DBSK back in 2003), some photobooks and other official items, as calendars etc.. Been a member of Bigeast for 3 years and.. Yeah all the money spent on concerts.. Since 2007 there hasn't been a year I haven't seen them at least on a-nation ^^ Of course seeing them was just one poit of the journeys I made but still :)
(and Japanese tocket prices are just SICK..)
<3 Ok back to the real world. Probably all of you are already sick with my leather trousers haha. But there are 3 more pictures left ^_^ Some days ago I went with my childhood friend Misia to Malta Lake in our city.. And we have re-done the "photoshoot" we did like 6 years ago.. same people, same place. Different styles, better looking, haha :)

How do you like them?
Hot or not? :P

P.S.
Check out that crazy shit!

Halloween :)

Last weeks were just too busy and crazy to be real.. On Friday 28th of October I went to Warsaw and, after some adventures, such as evacuation of the airport xD, I flew to Barcelona to see my boyfriend and my lovers - JYJ. The weekend was sooo wicked, with meeting friends, going to the concert, meeting friends, all the time wit my boyfriend.. came back on Tuesday night, had 2 days of classes on Thursday and Friday and Friday after class I caught a train and went with my friends to Berlin. Another frends, another parties, and another JYJ concert! Came back yesterday morning and went directly to the class from the train station ^^;

I will prepare a post about the Berlin trip soon, right now I want to show off my cute Halloween Zombie Li to you!
For the Halloween I went with my friends first to the before party at my friends' flat, where we did your make up, and then we went to the Elephant Club Barcelona. Following pictures are form Elephant club webiste!

I'm off to study kanji now, will do another update about Berlin and concerts soon :)
